Happy New Year, everyone! Wow – it’s 2023; I cannot believe it. We lost power yesterday due to the storm, but it came back on at 7 pm, just in time for dinner and a toast to ring it all in (and of course, for my boys to watch the end of a football game!)
I have spent the last couple of days reflecting on 2022. Here is a little video I put together with what I loved the best and what fills my heart. Because isn’t that truly what it’s all about?

I was so fortunate to travel to Italy, England, and Hawaii in 2022 – which filled me up so much with inspiration and joy. I can’t wait for more adventures this year. Travel is very important to me, and now that the boys are older, it's much easier for me to escape on these trips!

Family games, more than anything, make me SO HAPPY. All the silliness and laughter, the girlfriends. Shropshire Rummy, Code Names, and now Poker (Texas Hold ‘Em) filled many entertaining nights. Second, to game nights is our love for sports. Watching the Buffalo Bills or Golden State Warriors with my boys is definitely one of my favorite things to do with them (even more when we win!)
Art. Yes to art, and to more art this year. Nothing takes me away into another world like creating. I will really strive to find even more time in 2023 for this. Creativity is our superpower, and I want more of it!
