Art Journaling 01 - Making The Journal

This is the recording of the Live Class, there is a Zoom recording as well as 4 hi-res videos of me creating at my table.
 
We will make the journal, bind it, and paint the backgrounds in class – no need to do anything ahead of time except make sure your papers are 11x14. If you are using a journal you already have, then just bring the painting supplies suggested. 
 
In the first class, we will be making our journals and prepping our backgrounds. I will also be walking you through some of my art journals for inspiration. We will trim, sew, and bind our journals together in the class and use acrylic inks to play with some gorgeous colors as we work on the first layer. I will also leave you with prompts and ideas to fill in your journal until the next class and give you tips on how to prep for the 2nd art journaling class on our Floral theme.
 
***if you prefer to follow along with how I make and bind the art journal, then prep your pages in an older one you have – that is 100% fine! It will still be an enjoyable class to get inspired by the benefits of starting a journal practice!
