Are you looking for a couple of hours of fun?
To get messy and play with yummy art supplies?
Be part of a community that encourages and inspires one another.

Look no further! Create + Play is not your typical step-by-step zoom class, but more of an experience.

If you like my Facebook or Instagram Lives, you will love these sessions as they are much more interactive.

Each session is on Zoom and recorded (whether you turn on your camera or not!)

The next best thing to being together in person is to be Live online with each other.

All levels welcome.

This is ALL about fun, learning new things and being creative!

Sit back and watch or play along side with me.

All Classes are recorded + Lifetime Access

Modern Poinsettia holiday decor

Create these holiday flowers with a new twist by painting in a whimsical, flowing style with acrylic paint and paint pens. We will make our flowers modern using a bright palette, fun brush strokes, and making marks dotted with silver! Make art to give (or keep) this season.

I will show you how I paint multiple flowers on art paper and then use these pieces to create a few art pieces for the holidays.

5x7 Floral Painting – frame it, or make it into a greeting card.

Poinsettia on a wooden block – just imagine all sizes and colors of these flowers on your mantel!
They would look beautiful.

Place cards for table settings – taking the design down to a smaller size to make small name cards. Brighten up the table with color and festive marks! Or use for gift tags! So many ideas...

Good News on techy things!

Good news!!! No more issues with Zoom links and passwords. Oy! I am putting this Zoom class along with all future ones on my teaching site (same place as all my courses). This should be way easier for everyone to find the link and enjoy the replay. (The tech things I’ve figured out over the years, and I thought I was making it simple!)

Art Supplies Needed:

Here’s what I feel – use what you have! Also, follow along with me with what you have, and then if you like what I am using/demoing, then you can go get that.

My colors may not be your favorite. So choose colors that speak to you! You can paint your poinsettias in any color you want – no rules in art, that’s why I love it so much.

I will be using a variety of acrylic paint brands as well as paint pens in a few different sizes (Posca paint pens are my favorite), there are lots of other brands out there - just make sure they are water-based.
